Subscription Update Obituary

     Lucille (Quaglieri) Paradis, 90, of Worcester died peacefully Wednesday October 29, 2014 in the Rose Monahan Residence surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Paul E. Paradis predeceased her. Lucille is survived by many nephews, nieces and great nephews and greatnieces. She also leaves her close friend and caretaker Mary Urquhart. Lucille was predeceased by her brothers, Francis, Anthony, Michael, and Joseph Quaglieri, and three sisters, Pauline Ventresca, Bernice Caputo, and Grace Aucoin.

Lucille was born in Worcester daughter of the late Bernardo and Maria (Icovelli) Quaglieri and lived here all her life. She attended Commerce High School. Lucille volunteered for many years in the gift shop at the UMASS Medical Center before she retired. She enjoyed cooking, baking and being a Homemaker. However her most treasured times were those with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Lucille’s funeral will be held on Saturday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a service in the funeral home at 10:30AM. A calling hour with the family will be held from 9:00AM to 10:30AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA.
