Subscription Update Obituary

     Louise A. (Madore) Guerin, 93, of Auburn, returned to her Maker on Wednesday, January 20th, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence with her family by her side.

Louise was married for 56 years to the late Paul R. Guerin, who passed on in 2003. She is survived by 4 sons, Paul R. Guerin Jr. and his wife Barbara of Sutton, Ronald R. Guerin and his wife Linda of Framingham, Philip D. Guerin and his best friend Patricia Robitaille of West Brookfield, and Joseph M. Guerin and his wife Tina of Spencer; 4 daughters, Anne M. Tobin and her husband James of Spencer, Angela L. Guerin of Auburn, Michele D. Guerin and her fiancé Louis Doiron of Rochdale, and Bernadette M. Engvall and her husband Gregory of Auburn; a sister, Eveline R. Letourneau of Worcester; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her “Campbell Kids”: Dennis, Ray, Alice and Dave; and many other relatives and friends.

Louise was born in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Louis and Laura (Belanger) Madore and is also predeceased by 5 brothers and sisters, Lucienne J. Ducharme, Roland O. Madore, Gerald E. Madore, Rene A. Madore, and Dora A. Campbell.

Louise graduated from Holy Name of Jesus Elementary School in Worcester and St. Anne’s Academy in Marlborough. She was an accomplished seamstress and fondly remembered for her wonderful wedding cakes. Her greatest love was her family – her pride and joy. Louise was a dedicated member of the former Holy Name of Jesus Parish Community in Worcester for many years until it’s closing in 2008, and she was a current member of North American Martyrs Church in Auburn.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a funeral mass at 10:30 am in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Dr., Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Monday January 25 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Anne, 720 Boston Post Road East, Marlborough, MA 01752 or the Autism Resource Center of Central Massachusetts, 71 Sterling St., West Boylston, MA 01583.
