Subscription Update Obituary

     Lorraine M. Waterhouse, age 89, of 23 Quinebaug Road, died peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at UMass Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was the mother of seven children and is survived by six sons, Lawrence M. Waterhouse Jr., of Dudley, Kenneth R. Waterhouse of Kissimmee, FL, Mark A. Waterhouse of Thompson CT, Stephen R. Waterhouse of Southbridge, John J. Waterhouse of Ashland, and Paul F. Waterhouse of Webster; one daughter, Bette A. Fafard of South Rumford ME; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Lawrence M. Waterhouse Sr.

She was born in Shrewsbury, daughter of Joseph and Ezilda (Vanasse) Lucier. Her family was the strength and joy of her life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster with a Mass at 10am at St Louis Church, 15 Lake St., Webster. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, February 26, 2016 from 8:00-9:30AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 810 Vermont Avenue, NW Washington DC 20420.
