Lorraine E. (Robinson) Cote, was reunited with Joe, her loving husband of 68 years, on March 9th., 2016. She passed quietly in her sleep in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Clarence and Ovelina (Premo) Robinson. She dedicated her life to the care and nurturing of her family and home. During the second have of her life she worked hand and hand with her husband Joe to develop a successful home business.

Lorraine enjoyed the simple things in life, vacations in NH, SC, and FL, and the occasional trip to the casinos. She enjoyed Cross stitch and crocheting, and was rarely without a project in the works. Many family members and friends are comforted by one of the beautiful afghans she made and enjoyed giving to others.,

She will be remembered lovingly by her son Joseph Cote of Auburn, daughter and son-in-law, Maryann and Ray Cote, granddaughter and her husband April and Ted Desmond, all of Leicester, her brother Donal Robinson of Worcester and her sister-in-laws, Sylvia Conner of Webster, and Diane Harrison of Pembroke, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lorraine’s Family would like to thank the VNA Hospice, and Bayada for the excellent home services they provided in the last year of her life. The services of the caring individuals who work for these agencies allowed her to remain in her home where she so longed to be.

At her request, no funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice .

MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is assisting the family with arrangements.
