Subscription Update Obituary

Lorraine L. (Menard) Pardee, 84, of Leicester, passed away on May 28th while surrounded by her family in her son’s home.

Lorraine was married for 29 years to the late Charles H. Pardee III, who died in 2008. She is survived by her son, Donald E Gillette and his wife Kathleen of Leicester; three daughters, Dawn Marie Krikorian and her husband Stephen of Worcester, Theresa Brodeur and her husband Raymond of Webster and Laurie Gillette of Worcester; 44 grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. She also leaves her brother Emile Menard Sr. And his wife Doreen of Worcester

Mrs. Pardee was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Neva (Cove) Menard and is predeceased by a son, Donald C Gillette Jr.; five brothers, Thomas, George, Robert, James and David Menard and a sister, Lydia Bigwood and her first husband Donald C. Gillette

Lorraine worked as a machine operator for the former Presmet Company. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren, listening to country music, playing bingo, bowling and crosswords and was a lifetime member of the Cathedral of Saint Paul Church.

A funeral will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 10:00 AM at Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester, Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 2nd from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 209 West Central Street, Suite 207, Natick, MA 01760.
