Subscription Update Obituary

     Linda M. (Mariano) Robinson, 65, formerly of Douglas passed away Thurs. May 24, 2018 in the Meadows Skilled Nursing Ctr., Rochdale. She was the wife of the late Robert Robinson, Jr. who died in 2007.

Mrs. Robinson had been a licensed practical nurse for many years and was devoted to her nursing profession.

She was born July 3, 1952 in Worcester and was a graduate of St. Peter-Marion High School in Worcester. Linda had been a resident of Douglas for many years before moving to Shrewsbury. She loved anything that sparkled, music, shopping, reading and following Britain’s Royal Family.

Linda’s life centered around her family and especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her son, George L. Holt, III of Millbury, her daughters, Tiffany E. Simon and her husband Wayne of Bellingham and Samantha Robinson of Shrewsbury; a step-daughter, Sara Robinson and her husband Scott of Cranston, RI., a step-son Andrew Robinson of Pleasantville, NY and a step-daughter Meredith Robinson of Johnston, RI; 3 grandchildren, Carina Holt, Michael Holt, Silas Bell; her niece, Stephanie Mariano; a great niece and nephew, and her former husband George L. Holt, Jr.

The family is greatly appreciative of the care and compassion extended to Linda by all of the nurses and aides at the Meadows in Rochdale.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Meadows of Central MA, 111 Huntoon Memorial Hwy., Rochdale, MA 01542.
