Subscription Update Obituary

     Lester H. Pease, Jr., 93, formerly of Paxton died Tuesday, March 8th in CareOne at Millbury. His wife of 44 years, Gloria A. (Shepard) Pease died in 1996. He leaves two daughters, Carole Pease of Barre and Diane Clark and her husband, Ronald of Sutton; a sister, Mary Sheridan of Auburn; two grandsons, Ryan Clark and his wife, Melissa of Northbridge and Justin Clark and his wife, Krystal of Barre; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Pease.

He was born in Worcester the son of Lester H. Pease, Sr. and Mary E. (Muldoon) Pease. Mr. Pease was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II and also belonged to the Coast Guard Auxiliary for 39 years. Lester worked at Heald Machine for over 35 years as an Industrial Engineer retiring in October of 1987. He was a member of St. Columba Church, Paxton. Lester enjoyed spending his time boating, hunting, fishing, watching Nascar and spending time with his family.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Grafton Unit and the Activity Department at CareOne at Millbury for the compassion and care they gave Lester during his stay.

His funeral is Saturday, March 12th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Columba Church, 10 Richards Avenue, Paxton. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, March 11th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CareOne at Millbury, Attn: Activity Department, 312 Millbury Avenue, Millbury, MA 01527.
