Subscription Update Obituary

With hearts broken we announce the passing of Lawrence “Larry” Harris of Rutland, formerly of Worcester. He was born in Worcester the son of the late Amos L. and Wanda A. (Kuchnicka) Harris and graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade School.

Larry leaves his wife, Mary (Reed Baribeault) Harris; a daughter, Pamela (Harris) Baribeault and her partner, Andre Gilbert; step sons, W. Anthony Baribeault and his wife, Sarah, Timothy Baribeault and his wife, Cheryl and Thomas Baribeault and his wife, Julie; a step-daughter, Terrie LaMarche and her husband, Richard; a brother-in-law, Robert Reed and his wife, Nancy; his grandchildren, Robert, Gage, Nicholas, Ryan, Cameron, Orlo, Ashley, Haley, Annie, Scott, Greg, Janelle and Sarah; seven great-grandchildren; and his nieces, Debra, Mae, Christine, Dawn, Kim, Debbie, Patti and Kathy. He was also predeceased by his sister, Christine.
Larry was a Master Electrician and Vice President of LaFleur Electric Co. in Auburn and worked there until his passing. He received an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps as Staff Sergeant, a testimonial of honorable and faithful service. He was a proud Marine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Church, 258 Main St., Rutland. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island, 133 Federal Street, 2nd Floor Boston, MA 02110.
