Subscription Update Obituary

     Laura S. Padgett, 51, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Laura is survived by her mother Carol L. Padgett; Her lifelong partner Adam T. Lee; their children, Daniel L. Padgett; Kathleen E. and her husband Vicente Torres; Nicole M. and her husband Edwin Rivera; Kayla R. Padgett and her longtime boyfriend Sam Boyden, all of Worcester; A sister Katrina L. Downes and longtime partner Peter A. Camerano of FL; two brothers, Kenneth N. Padgett Jr, Keith R. Padgett and longtime partner Jonathan Santana of Worcester; five grandchildren (Trinity, Noah, David, Isaiah and Elijah), Nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her father Kenneth N. Padgett Sr.(1989), and a half sister Shelly J. Padgett (1990).

Laura was born February 25, 1969. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. She had a heart of gold, an infectious sense of humor and a knack for sarcasm. In her spare time she loved to sing and dance and whip up some good cooking in the kitchen, but her most favorite times were always being spent with family.

She worked as a longtime manager at McDonalds. Anyone she worked with was always cared for and thought of as family. She will be missed dearly by everyone.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at St. Vincent Hospital for the care, compassion and dignity that was given to her.

Calling hours and Funeral Service are entrusted to Graham Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlors at 838 Main St. Worcester, MA 01610. Calling hours will be held 7pm-9pm on Thursday June 25th. Funeral Service will be at 10am on June 26th followed by a committal at 11am to Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton, MA 01612.
