Laura E. (Johnson) Chaput , 94, of Northbridge, passed away, with her family at her bedside, on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Milford Regional Hospital, Milford. Her husband, Homer L. Chaput, predeceased her in 1991.

Laura is survived by three daughters, Jean Hutchinson and her husband, Richard of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Linda Garland and her husband, Larry of Canyon Lake, CA, and Ruth Perry and her husband, Bob of Poultney, VT; a sister, Claire Kirkpatrick of Worcester. Four grandchildren, Pamela Hutchinson, Melissa Lannon and her husband, Kevin, Jill Perry Balzano and her husband, Rico and Christopher Garland and his wife, Simone.

Four Great Grandchildren Amelia and Jocelyn Lannon and Leo and Julian Balzano. She is predeceased by a brother Bob Johnson and two sisters, Sylvia Greenfield and Yvonne Zonia.

Laura’s family would like to thank all of the wonderful people at Milford Regional Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion they gave her in her last days. Also, everyone at Whitney Place in Northbridge where she resided for the last 7 years, who were just like family and where she was at home there.

Friday, July 28th at the Chiampa Funeral Home ~ The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, Shrewsbury Center from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
