Subscription Update Obituary

     Kyle E. Hunter, age 31, passed away peacefully at St Vincent’s Hospital on February 18 after a short illness.

Kyle leaves his mother, Julianne (Spitz) Hunter, with whom he had a special bond, and his father, Dr. Todd Hunter, who was his hero. He leaves a sister, Faye Hunter, who he adored and loved to tease, and her fiancé, Charles Onorato, Jr. He leaves a younger brother, Alex Hunter, with whom he shared a love for music and basketball. He leaves his maternal grandmother, Julia (Bielik) Spitz from whom he inherited his outgoing personality. He leaves his paternal grandfather, Dr. Richard Hunter, who looked like his twin.

Kyle grew up in Paxton and attended Paxton Center School. He graduated from St John’s Prep School. He attended Johnson and Wales University. He graduated from Anna Maria College with a Bachelor of Arts while majoring in graphic design. He furthered his talent in art by attending Rhode Island School of Design.

Kyle was a happy fun loving man who liked to be called “Kyle H” and “Huntaa.” He enjoyed all kinds of music. He was very talented in many forms of art. He loved basketball and his Boston Celtics. He was lucky enough to attend the final game of the NBA championship series in 2007-8 when the Boston Celtics won their 17th title. Kyle had a lifelong love of pets and spent endless hours with his dogs over the years.

Kyle spent most of his career in sales and marketing. He was most recently employed by Public Promotions Inc.

A Funeral Mass to honor Kyle will be held Monday, February 23rd at 10:00 AM at St Columba Church, 18 Richards Ave., Paxton. Burial will be private at Worcester County Memorial Park. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Kyle Hunter’s memory to the Glaucoma Research Foundation, 251 Post Rd., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94108. Arrangements are in the care of CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
