Kenneth P. Wyman, 83, of Worcester, formerly of Holden, passed away peacefully with his children and grandchildren at his side, at UMass Memorial-University Campus, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

He was born in Worcester on November 25, 1940 to Chandler and Mary (Carbone) Wyman. Ken grew up in the Grafton Hill neighborhood and lived in Leicester and then Holden, for 39 years, before moving back to Worcester in 2023.

Ken will be lovingly missed and remembered by his two daughters, Brenda Bachant and her husband David of Rutland; Kristi Turgeon and her husband James of Paxton; two grandsons, Benjamin Bachant and his wife Katherine of Rutland and Brian Bachant of Jefferson; three granddaughters, Jordan Turgeon of Worcester, Sarah Turgeon of Cherry Valley, and Jamie Turgeon of Paxton. He also leaves two great-grandchildren, Noah and Olivia Bachant of Rutland, and a sister, Patricia LaJoie and her family, of San Diego, CA.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two infant sons Kenneth and Jeffrey, and an infant daughter, Sharon, as well as his brother, Chandler Wyman, Jr.

He graduated from St. Stephen’s High School in 1959 and New England School of Accounting in 1961. He was Treasurer of Wachusett Wire Company, Inc., in Worcester, for over 30 years, until his retirement in 1998.

Ken was an avid Boston sports fan and player of The Numbers Game, but his biggest passion in life was being a father and grandfather. He never missed a sports game, performance, or event for his daughters or grandchildren. His family will be forever grateful for the enormous amount of quality time he spent with them, his generous and loving nature towards them, and the memories he created with them.

At Ken’s request, services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://act.alz.org or the American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org in Ken’s memory. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
