Subscription Update Obituary

   Kathleen T. (LaMonda) Guenette, 78, of Auburn died on Saturday, June 9 in St. Vincent Hospital After an illness.

   Mrs. Guenette is survived by her husband of 53 years Jean A. Guenette of Auburn; four sons, Arthur Guenette and his long time companion Terry of Millbury, John Guenette and his wife Sally of Northbridge, Michael Guenette and his companion Carey of Leicester and Bill Guenette and his wife Kara of Holden; a daughter, Darlene Verham of West Brookfield; a sister, Barbara Wyman of Spencer; 12 grandchildren, Brian, James, Matthew, Jennifer, Amanda, Shannon, Eddie, Billy Jr., Brandon, Hesper, Justin and Corey and several nephews and nieces. Mrs. Guenette was born in Philadelphia, PA daughter of Noel and Catherine (Ledoux) LaMonda and is predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters.

   She worked as a secretary at the South Worcester Neighborhood Center and previously as a clerk in the pharmacy at the former Worcester City Hospital. Mrs. Guenette enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles and trips to the casino.

   The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 13 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Church 189 Oxford Street Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Tuesday, June 12 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
