Kathleen Ann (Desourdi) LeBeau, 68 of Dudley, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022 surrounded by loved ones, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Boston, MA

Kathleen was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Freeland and Gladys (Pilzecker) Desourdi. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for 32 years working most recently for the former Oakwood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center before she retired in 2020. Kathleen loved baking and was extremely good at it. She was well known for her specialty cakes, cookies and homemade candies. She also loved the holidays with her family and adored all of her grandchildren. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She enjoyed spending time with them and gave them so much unconditional love. Becoming a “Nana” was one her proudest and most joyful moments in her life.

Kathleen is survived by loving husband of 50 years, George LeBeau, Sr.; a son, George LeBeau, Jr and his wife Jamie of Holland, MA; a daughter, Elizabeth LeBeau of Worcester; a step-daughter, Charlene LeBeau of Webster; two sisters, Susan Mulhern of Worcester and Doreen Rondeau of Tyngsboro; seven grandchildren, Anthony LeBeau and his fiancé Jocelyn Lewie, Janessa Gingras, Vincent LeBeau, Logan LeBeau, Jade Holmes, Cheryl LeBeau and Randy LeBeau; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother, David Desourdi.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 24th from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
