Kathleen Anne Moen was called to heaven by God on August 30, 2016 to be with her father and brother.

Kathy was born in Worcester on March 3, 1954, daughter to the late James J. Moen Jr. and Frances J. (O’Connor) Moen. She attended local schools and graduated from North High School.

Kathy lived with her parents for her entire life. They loved her dearly, as she did them. She was a great help to them in their later years. Kathy was a wonderful person who touched everyone she met in a very special way. She loved animals, especially her cat, Ben. Spending time with her family was what she enjoyed most of all. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves her mother, Frances J. Moen, of Asheville, NC; two brothers, Michael D. Moen and his partner, Terry Lynn Mascena of Worcester; her twin, Daniel P. Moen and his wife, Patricia D. Moen of Rindge, NH; two sisters, Joyce M. Moen and her wife, Linda G. Moen of Asheville, NC; and Pamela Jordan of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, James J. Moen III, predeceased her.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 9 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus-St. Catherine of Sweden 600 Cambridge St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are private to the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lindquist-Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Silver Bluff Village, 100 Silver Bluff Drive, Canton, NC 28716.
