Subscription Update Obituary

     Julienne H. (Lambert) Mulcahy, 84, of Worcester died Tuesday, February 7th in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 45 years, David W. Mulcahy, Jr. died in 2001. She leaves five sons, David W. Mulcahy, III of Grafton, Mark J. Mulcahy and his wife, Veronica of Shrewsbury, Patrick M. Mulcahy and his wife, Maureen of Eastford, CT, Daniel R. Mulcahy and his wife, Christine of Charlton and Ryan J. Mulcahy of Fiskdale; four daughters, Cheryl L. Logee and her husband, Mark of Paxton, Sharon M. Barry and her husband, John of Worcester, Lisa A. Desroches and her husband, Joseph of Rutland and Marlene J. Mulcahy of Worcester; her sister, Bernadette Magerowski of Worcester; a sister in law, Eleanor Lambert of Worcester; 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Cecile Kasabula and Ferdinand Pultorak; and her brothers, Edgar Lambert and Bertrand Lambert.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Albini and Leona (Beaudoin) Lambert. Julienne enjoyed family parties, going out to dinner and shopping excursions with her daughters. She enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and Christmas. She was a member of the Ladies Emblem Club. Julienne was a former member of Christ the King Church and currently attended services at Colony III. Her favorite pastime was spending time at Hampton Beach and listening to music at the bandstand. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother.

Julienne’s family would like to thank everyone at the Colony for their friendship over the years and to the staff and nurses at St. Vincent Hospital for the compassion and care they offered during her illness

Funeral service and burial will be private. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospital, 123 Summer Street, Worcester, MA 01608 or to Colony III Retirement Homes, c/o Activities Fund, 101 Chadwick Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
