Julia M. (Zona) Guertin, passed away peacefully on Sunday,April 8,2018 in St. Vincent’s Hospital with her family by her side.

Julia was born in Worcester the daughter of Peter and Maria Zona. She was married for 49 years to Richard D. Guertin who predeceased her in 1998.

She leaves her beloved daughter Lorena Myers, with whom she lived, and son David and his wife Susan; her granddaughter Jenna Sweeney; her grandsons David Jr. and his wife Maria, Matthew and his wife Leslie, and Jason and his wife Lindsay; great grandchildren Madeline, Matthew Jr., Jason Jr., Elyse, Ella and Mia and her beloved pets.

Julia had a deep faith and an amusing sense of humor. She was a selfless woman who loved her family. She was an outstanding cook who was known far and wide for her Italian meatballs with gravy and her fudge. She will be deeply missed.

Honoring her wishes there will be a private family service at their discretion. Pillsbury Funeral Home 163 Main St. in Spencer is directing arrangements.
