Subscription Update Obituary

Judith G. (Hansson) Lang, age 85, passed away peacefully with her son and daughter by her side, on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gladys (Smith) Hansson.

Judith spent her early years in Princeton and Holden, where she graduated from Wachusett Regional High School with the class of 1957. She resided for most of her life in Paxton where she raised her children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed the holidays when everyone was together. She enjoyed shopping, fashion, her crossword puzzles and was also an avid reader.

Judy leaves behind her two children, William F. Lang and his wife Theresa of Paxton and her daughter Donna K. Lanagan and her husband Kevin of Spencer; two brothers Robert Hansson and Thomas Hansson; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Krysta, Ryan and Meaghan; 5 great-grandchildren, Stephen, Michael Jr, Jacob, Kadence and Logan; a niece and many nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her former husband, Franklin Lang Jr, two brothers, Richard and John and her granddaughter, Tara Marie Lang.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, April 5th, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org or to Second Chance Animal Services at https://www.secondchanceanimals.org/.
