She was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Trombley. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Edward J. and Clara (Bleau) Graves, and lived in Millbury and Auburn before moving to Oxford in 1959. She graduated from Millbury High School in 1951. Mrs. Stockwell was a secretary at Oxford Middle School for 23 years, retiring in 1992. After retiring, she enjoyed spending winters in Lake Wales, Florida. She was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford. She enjoyed cake decorating, tole painting, sewing, and flower gardening.
