Joyce L. (Parker) Stone,91, of 271 No.Main St., No. Brookfield and formerly of East Brookfield, died Saturday, June 17 in Quaboag Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, West Brookfield.
She leaves her daughter; Debra E. Dembkowski and her husband Michael of E.Brookfield 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter; Cindy A. Stone in 2020, her brothers; Richard, Kenneth, Leon, Ernest and Norman Parker and her sisters; Lucille Warner and Doris Parker.
Joyce worked in the delicatessen in Victory Market in No. Brookfield and previously at the former Hodes Supermarket prior to her retirement.
She was born in Spencer, the daughter of Walter and Alice (Bemis) Parker. She was a longtime member of the former United Methodist Church of Spencer and its Ladies Fellowship and most recently the United Methodist Church of Charlton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 21 at 10 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling period will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Why Me & Sherry’s House, 1152 Pleasant St., Worcester, MA 01602.
