Joseph T. Obert Jr., 58, passed away on October 11, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born on April 11th, 1963 in Worcester, MA son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Brown) Obert, Sr. and was a graduate of Worcester Vocational Technical High School Class of 1981, where he learned the trade of Carpentry. He later went on to join the Carpenter’s Union Local 336. He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia (Harvey) Obert; his children Timothy LaRocque, Nicole Obert, Matthew Obert and his wife Natalia, Kiely Obert; step children Jacob Cote and Emma Cote; siblings Christopher Obert and his wife Patricia, Julie Leite and her husband Scott; 7 grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Joe enjoyed spontaneous weekend adventures and live music with his wife Marcia. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Joe was a natural athlete. His favorite pastimes were golf, street hockey and archery. Joe was loved by many and was always willing to help out anyone, especially with his carpentry skills. He will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 5-7 PM in Pillsbury funeral Home, 163 Main St., Spencer. A graveside service for Joe will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11:00AM in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
