Joseph J. DiPari, 95, of Worcester, died Monday February 16, 2015 in Beaumont Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, Worcester. His wife of 47 years, Jeannette S. (Mercure) DiPari died in 2001.
He leaves his daughter, Ann Campbell of Worcester; his son, Joseph A. DePari of Hixson, Tenn., five grandchildren, Gabrielle, John, Luke, Hannah and Elizabeth, one great-grandson, Javan, a brother, Salvatore DePari, a sister, Terry Distratis both of Worcester and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters, Victor and Steve DePari and Mary Ciccarelli, Angie DePari and Philomena Romano. He was born and raised in Worcester, a son of the late Francisco and Anna (Vecca) DePari and has lived here all of his life.
Mr. DiPari was a draftsman for many years and retired in 1984 from Presmet Corp. Before then he worked for Riley Stoker Co. and Rice Barton Co. Mr. DiPari was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of Commerce High School and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
The funeral will be held on Friday February 20, 2015 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Friday February 20, 2015 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beaumont Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, 378 Plantation Street, Worcester, Ma, 01605.
