Joseph C. Feeley, 87, passed away May 7, 2016 following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Nancy R. (Maroney) Feeley, his son Steven Feeley and grandson David Feeley, his brother James Feeley and sister Patricia East and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers John, Paul, Richard, Harold and Wilfred Feeley, his sisters Rita Stencel, Helen Vela, Mary Henning, Catherine Phelan and Ruth Walsh.
Joe was born July 16, 1928 in Worcester. He grew up in the city and graduated from Clark University in Worcester. Joe served in the US Army during World War II and following his military service worked as a postal clerk in Worcester for 33 years. He was a faithful parishioner and steward of his beloved St. Mary’s Church in North Grafton having taught in their RCIA program and supporting the Bishop’s Fund campaign ministry among others.
Please honor Joe with a memorial donation to Horace Mann Educational Associates (HMEA) 8 Forge St. Franklin, MA 02038. All are welcome to gather with Joe’s family and friends Wednesday May 11th from 4pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St N. Grafton, MA 01536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday May 12th at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Church 17 Waterville St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. Burial will be private at the convenience of his family.
