Jonathan W. Warren, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 18 at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

He leaves his high school sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Justine M. (Jones) Warren; three sons, Jack Warren and his wife, Maria of Wilbraham, Joseph Warren and his wife, Jillian of Auburn and Matthew Warren of Worcester; three grandchildren, Alaina, Molly and Nicholas; two brothers, Jeffrey Warren and his fiancé, Jackie Sherwin of Worcester and Michael Warren; a brother-in-law, John Morin of Holden and nieces and nephews. His sister, Mary Frances Morin, predeceased him.

Jonathan was born in Queens, NY, the son of Samuel B. and Frances (Williamson) Warren. After attending Doherty Memorial High School, Jonathan served in the Marine Corps and went on to attend Worcester Junior College. Jonathan was a senior project manager for BioPharm Engineered Systems. He was a true family man who raised his sons with pride and cherished his grandchildren. He had a tremendous sense of humor and a quick wit. Jonathan most enjoyed spending time with his family at home while cooking on the grill and talking by his wood stove.

The family would like to thank the UMass doctors and staff for all their care and compassion  during Jonathan’s illness.

Visiting hours are Monday, July 24 from 4 to 7pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St. A private graveside service will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the UMass Memorial Giving Program.
