John F. Drake, 61, of Worcester died Thursday, June 2nd at home. He leaves a daughter, Nichole Morrison of Worcester; three sisters, Kathleen Sundstrom and her husband, Scott, Joanne Dunston, and Nancy Drake all of Worcester; four grandchildren, Tylor Morrison, Brianna Martocchio, Ereka Martocchio, and Vinny Martocchio; and close friends, Dennis Laperle of Worcester and Bob Hopkins of Jefferson. He was predeceased by a brother, David Drake; and a half-brother, Gordon Drake.

He was born in Worcester the son of Granville and Irene (Savage) Drake. John worked at UMass Memorial Medical Center for 30 years as a housekeeper. He was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, June 6th from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
