     Joanne B. (Lemieux) Lindsey, 80 of Charles St., died Thursday, Feb. 12 in St. Vincent Hospital , Worcester .She was the wife of Richard G. Lindsey, Sr. who died in 2013. She leaves her son Andrew P. Lindsey of No.Brookfield, three daughters Wendy M. Carrabba of Uxbridge, Katherine M. Lindsey of No.Oxford and Beatrice M. Goguen of Leicester, her step brother Paul Rochette of Fl. her sister-in-law, Dorothy Lemieux of Worcester,, 6 grandchildren; Michael, Lisa, Christine, Danielle, Sadie and & Misty, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Richard Lemieux and a sister Blanche Rochette.Joanne worked in food preparation at several area colleges and restaurants, prior to retirement.

Born in Holden, she was the daughter of Napoleon and Beatrice (Morse) Lemieux. She was a former Avon salesperson. She operated the refreshment stand at the Leicester Little League field for many years.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour will precede the service from 9 to 10a.m. on Tuesday. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Leicester Food Pantry, 759 Main St., Leicester, MA 01524.
