Subscription Update Obituary

     Jeannette M. (Jolicoeur) Lacaire, 80, went to be with our Lord on June 24, 2017. She was born November 7, 1936 at the family farm “Jolicoeur’s Dairy Farm” the daughter of the late Alphonse and Eva (Charland) Jolicoeur. She was predeceased by her husband Richard N.Lacaire.

She leaves 2 daughters Susan Goodwin of Auburn and Deborah Hubacz & her husband Paul of North Brookfield; 2 sons Steven Lacaire & his wife Mary of West Boylston and John Lacaire of Camp Verde,AZ; a brother Rene Jolicoeur of Spencer; 5 grandchildren Jenna,Adam & Ross Hubacz and Matthew & Addison Lacaire and a godson David Budreau. She was predeceased by a brother Armand and 3 sisters Anne Demers,Irene Boniface and Pauline Jolicoeur.

Jeannette worked as a cook for many years at the East Brookfield Elementary Schools. She was a member of the “Red Hatters” and Harrington Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Southbridge. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, painting, gardening and canning. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren traveling to beaches, museums, Disney World and Sedona, AZ.

The funeral for Jeannette will be held on July 7,2017 with a Mass at 11AM in St. John the Baptist Church N. Brookfield Rd. East Brookfield. A calling hour will be held from 9:30-10:30 prior to the funeral in Pillsbury Funeral Home 163 Main St. in Spencer. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
