Jeanne R. (Anderson) Gauthier (Jette) 84, passed away on Friday, May 27th peacefully.
She was born in Rumford, ME to the late Shirley & John Harry Anderson. She is predeceased by her 1st husband Ernest P. Jette Sr., 2nd husband Henry Gauthier, brother Cecil Anderson, and son James Jette.
After graduating from Commerce High School, she entered the workforce & retired from AT&T after 38 years of service. In her retirement years, she was a member of the YMCA swim club. Jeanne loved her 2 Mastiffs, Duchess & Ayla, with all her heart.

Jeanne grew up dancing & was a contender to become one of the Radio City Rockettes. Although not making the final cut, she loved music and dance throughout her life. In addition, she enjoyed playing the organ and reading. She was an active member of the catholic church and taught catechism classes for several years.
Jeanne is survived by her children Ernest Jette Jr. & wife Barbara of Spencer, MA, Denise Jette-Waskiewicz of Conway, SC, and Sandra Schultz (Jette) & husband Mark Schultz of Millbury, MA; three stepchildren, Christina Jette, Martha Jarvis and Stephen Jette. In addition, Jeanne leaves her grandchildren, Melissa Jansen (Jette), Allyson Porteus (Jette), Courtney Schultz, Ian Schultz, and great grandchildren Kaylee Jette & Estella Jansen. Jeanne also leaves her best friend, Shirley Hamill. The two were partners in crime and like “sisters” for over 60 years.

Family and friends are invited to remember Jeanne’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday June 1st from 5 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. Her burial will be private.
