Janet A. (Borraccino) LeBeau, 70, a lifelong resident of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at home with her loving husband and daughters by her side.

Janet was born in Worcester where she graduated from North High School, Class of 1972, a daughter of the late Rosario P. and Aldea S. (Dumont) Borraccino.  She worked in retail sales for various companies, including Trippi’s and Stop and Shop before retiring to be with her grandchildren.

Janet was a member of St. Stephen’s Church.  She loved bingo, occasional trips to Foxwoods and three card poker. Janet’s greatest enjoyment in life was being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved family vacations and traveling whether it was with her girls traveling from Massachusetts to Maine, camping & going to amusement parks or with her father- in-law, Leo Dionne who lived with them. Some of her more legendary trips were with her sisters, which will forever be spoken about.

Janet is survived by her high school sweetheart and the love of her life for the past 51 years, John W. LeBeau, a retiree of Eastern Bearings; three daughters, Leigha Stopyra of Worcester, Christy LeBeau of Shrewsbury and Angela Clay of Auburn; a brother, Robert Borraccino and his wife Debra Duggan of Worcester; three sisters, Gayle Aulizio and her husband Robert of Worcester, Mary Lorion and her husband Barry of Worcester and Shirley Rogers and her husband Robert of Spencer; nine beloved grandchildren, Joshua and Leo Stopyra, Lily, Phoebe and Tula Thuot, Kevin LeBeau and his wife Shayna, Brady, Samantha, and Camden Letourneau; many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Monday, July 10th from 4-7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Services will be held on Tuesday, July 11th with a procession from the funeral home to St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to:  International Myeloma Foundation, 4400 Coldwater Canyon Ave., Suite 300, Studio City, CA. 91604.
