James D. “Jim” Tracy, 86, of Shrewsbury passed away on January 20th. He was predeceased a year ago by his wife of 63 years, Phyllis M. (Gabree) Tracy.

He leaves two children, a daughter, Penny Mohr of Shrewsbury and a son Jim Tracy and his wife Deb of Spencer; five grandchildren, Jay Mohr of Marlboro; Tyson Mohr, his wife Rachel, and their daughter Chelsea of North Grafton; David and Joshua Rivera and Angela Rivera-Bennett and her husband Justin, and her three children, Joseph, James and Shyann.

He also leaves three sisters, Barbara Morton and her husband Lou, Shirley Bousquet and her husband Dell, and Dorothy Gabree and her husband Richard. Mr. Tracy was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Per his request there will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday January 28, 2015 in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
