Subscription Update Obituary

    Jadvyne E. "Jerry" Trainque, 73, of 4 Riverview Circle, died suddenly, Sunday, Jan. 17 while visiting her son in New Castle, VA.

    She leaves her husband of 52 years, Victor N. Trainque; a son, Brian S. Trainque and his wife Joy of New Castle; three daughters: Denise E. Masse of Worcester, Linette K. Warren and her husband Robert of Sterling, and Michelle A. Palmer of Auburn; a sister, Sharyn Petkus and her husband Albert of Sutton; nine grandchildren: Diane and Rebecca Masse, Cynthia and Patricia Warren, Benjamin and Katherine Trainque, Stefani, Nicole and Matthew Palmer; two great grandchildren: R.J. and Noah; nieces and nephews.

    Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Anna (Rudis) Rose and lived in Leicester until 1998. She worked at several area businesses including Apple Tree Fabrics, Hot Dog Annies and Wright Line. Jerry enjoyed playing cards, bingo, quilting and sewing.

    The funeral will be held on Friday, Jan. 22 from the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, Jan. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Craig County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 281, New Castle, VA 24127.
