Jacqueline Michelle Gerardi, 58, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, after a brief battle with an illness.

Jacquie was born on November 5, 1966, in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada, to Hilda Glynn of Ontario, Canada. As a young child, she relocated to Massachusetts. She was adopted and raised by Alfred (Patricia) Hall of Auburn, MA, and Jeanette Love of Scribner, NE.

Jacquie is survived by her husband, Peter Gerardi of Worcester, MA; her daughter, Rachel (Chaleki) Connolly, and her husband, Michael Connolly, of Auburn, MA; her son, William Chaleki, of Auburn, MA; her former husband, William G. Chaleki, of Auburn, MA; her stepchildren, Ben (Megan) Gerardi of Douglas, MA, Alex (Erica) Gerardi of Derry, NH, and Hannah (Domenic) Maiocchi of Leominster, MA; her mother, Hilda Glynn; her sister, Margret Robinson; her brother, Scott Dean, all of Ontario, Canada; her brothers-in-law, Brian Gerardi, Bruce (Sandra) Gerardi, and Paul (Debra) Gerardi all of Shrewsbury, MA. She also leaves behind her four beloved grandchildren-Jacob, Aria, Brooklyn, Tessa, Scarlett, and a baby Gerardi on the way. Jacquie is also survived by her two loyal dogs, Sheeba and Willow.

Jacquie was a devoted Nana who loved nothing more than spoiling her grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and baking, always sharing her meals with loved ones. Jacquie was also a talented knitter and seamstress, taking pride in creating handmade items for those she loved and donating knitted hats to infants in need.

Jacquie spent many years working in the service industry before transitioning to a role at a rehabilitation center. She later worked as a lunch aide in local public schools until her retirement in 2022. After retiring, Jacquie became a dedicated volunteer with the American Red Cross, traveling across the country to help those affected by disasters. When she wasn’t volunteering, she loved spending time at her second home in Sarasota, Florida, relaxing on the white sands of Siesta Key Beach.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jacquie’s family for Calling Hours on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Funeral Service will follow immediately at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.

Additionally, a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Parish, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson, followed by a luncheon in the parish hall to which all are invited.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross in memory of Jacqueline Gerardi.
