Irene P. (Nellos) Myers, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Jewish Healthcare. She leaves her brother George (Joanne) Nellos of Hampton, VA and her sister Constance Nellos (David Ferrari) of Carson City, NV; children Thomas Healy (Jennifer) of Weymouth, MA, Deirdre Healy (Larry Vidoli) of Worcester, MA, Dorothy Crockett of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren Gregory and Isabella of Weymouth; godson Javier Colon as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and all those who she took under her wings. Irene was born in Boston, daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Plosinski) Nellos. She graduated from Classical High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry from Boston University. She worked as a physical education teacher at the David Hale Fanning Trade School for Girls in Worcester for most of her career, ending her career at the former Boys Trade. She was on the board of the Jewish Community Center and the American Cancer Society.

She was a Life Master of Bridge. She belonged to the Cavendish Bridge Club and ran her own bridge club after she retired.
