     Irene E. (Hart) Berthiaume, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Palmer Healthcare. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Berthiaume, a sister and 3 brothers. She leaves 2 sons, Ronald Lippe & his wife Elizabeth of NH and Lawrence Lippe & Barbara of Warren; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Irene was born in North Brookfield, the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Letendre) Hart and lived many years in Southbridge before moving to Holland. Irene worked for many years as an attendant for Monson State Hospital until she retired. She loved her home, gardening and being in the outdoors. In her later years she enjoyed visiting New Hampshire, spending time with family and Lady Julz the family dog. She was a member of the Holland Senior Center and the Holland Congregational Church. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. A special thanks to Paula Braun and Chris McCooe for their kindness and care for our Mother. Friends and family are invited to attend a calling hour on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 10-11AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert St., North Brookfield. The funeral will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
