Subscription Update Obituary

     Hope E. (Nelson) Mancini, 68 passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 in UMASS Medical Center University Campus surrounded by her loving family. She leaves 2 daughters- Kendra L. Mancini, Kara D. Conroy and her husband Jeffrey P. Conroy ; a son- Kristopher S. Mancini; 6 grandchildren- Robert, Patrick, Madison, Brayden, Tyler and Mason; 3 sisters- Debra Mazzola, Ruth Nelson, and Naomi Lariviere; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her twin sister Faith Johnson and siblings Priscilla Romar, David Nelson and Paul Nelson.

Hope was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Gunnar and Helen (Gustafson) Nelson. She graduated from Burncoat High School in the class of 1967 and dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the former Belmont St. Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Hope will forever be remembered for her infectious laugh which always made everyone around her happy.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St.Worcester. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
