Subscription Update Obituary

     Hope E. (Moran) Favreault, 62, died Friday, May 27, 2016 after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of the late Henry E. and Marguerite I. (Egnatosky) Moran.

She leaves behind her husband of 36 years, Edward T. Favreault; a son, Mark E. Favreault and his wife Abigail; and a daughter, Shannon E. Favreault, all of Worcester. She is also survived by a brother, Craig E. Moran of Worcester; two sisters, Dawn M. Sobiech of Worcester and Renee F. Remington of Grafton; two grandchildren, Samia A. Russell and Harper E. Favreault, both of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Brian M. Favreault; her parents, Henry E. and Marguerite I. (Egnatosky) Moran; and two sisters, Denise C. Azzarone and Michelle M. Moran.

Hope graduated from Burncoat High School in 1972 and worked as a librarian and then as a teacher’s aide at Gates Lane for many years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and scenic drives.

The family would like to thank the staff at Blaire House of Worcester for the exceptional care they provided throughout Hope’s illness.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2016 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Worcester, 100 North Parkway #105, Worcester, MA 01653.
