Subscription Update Obituary

Harrison “Harry” Brown passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the age of 89.

He was born to Lillian Brown on June 12, 1934, and lived with his grandparents, William Brown & Annie Mossie Brown. After graduating from South High School in Worcester, Harry worked for many years at the Joseph Leavitt Company and as a security guard for many Worcester businesses.

Harry served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Numismatic Society. He had a diverse collection of coins, stamps, camera equipment and historical artifacts. His other hobbies included listening to opera & classical music, reading and photography.

Harrys’ wife of 64 years, Shirley (Leary), predeceased him. He leaves behind his daughter Cindy Meersman and her husband Dean, his daughter Sharron Peters and her husband John, five grandsons: Jake Meersman, Jeffrey Meersman, Joseph Peters, Benjamin Peters and David Peters and two great grandsons: Liam Tremblay and Eliot Peters.

A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family.

Please omit flowers. The J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing arrangements.
