Subscription Update Obituary

     Gloria M. (Gadbois) Perron, 90, of Clark Terrace, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester.

She was the wife of Robert H. Perron who died in 2003. She leaves her sons Robert E. Perron and his wife Karen of W. Boylston and Paul R. Perron of Spencer, her daughter Gloria A. Ciaffone and her husband Robert of E. Brookfield, 10 grandchildren; Jennifer, Travis, Blake, Jennifer, Matthew, Paul, Jr., Stephanie, Lilly Starr, Christopher and Jeffery, 3 great grandchildren; Ashley, Brittney and Brady, many nieces and nephews.

Born in Spencer, one of 10 children, she was the daughter of Arthur and Olivina (Guilmette) Gadbois.

Gloria was a cafeteria baker at David Prouty Junior High School for 15 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, the Lashaway Senior Citizen Club, and a longtime member of the Spencer Garden Club. She was a 22 year volunteer for S.E.R.V.E. of New England, serving food to low income families at The Knights of Columbus in Spencer. She enjoyed spending time with her children and 7 grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 3 from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., E. Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, March 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, Blaine Ave., E. Brookfield, MA 01515.
