Gloria J. (Piche) Oliver – loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, blessed us with 78 wonderful years of life. She passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2014 surrounded by family.

She was predeceased by her husband, James W. Oliver, who passed away in 1991, her parents, Wilfred “Sky” Piche and Lillian (Cloutier) Piche and her brother, Armand Piche of Ware.

She leaves one daughter, Susan Quattrocelli & husband Butch of Sturbridge and three sons, Richard Oliver of East Longmeadow, Mark Oliver & wife Brenda of West Brookfield and Paul Oliver & wife Mary Lise of North Brookfield. She leaves her two sisters, Pinky (Pauline) Walker & husband Bill of Brookfield and Lucille Lamoureux of West Brookfield. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

Gloria belonged to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in West Brookfield. She spent her life caring for her family and enjoyed camping, a good glass of wine and being surrounded by family.

There will be no calling hours. The burial will be held privately for the family. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network, c/o Baystate Health Foundation, 280 Chestnut St., Springfield, MA 01199. Pillsbury Funeral Home, Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield is directing arrangements.
