Subscription Update Obituary

     Gerard J. St. Martin 90, of 18 Temple St., died Thursday, Oct. 8 in Life Care Center of Auburn.

He leaves his wife of 60 years, Lorraine A. (Huard) St. Martin, a son Lionel G. St. Martin and his wife Ellen of Warren, his daughter May L. St. Martin of Spencer, three grandchildren; RoseAnn Hess and her fiance Lewis Perry of Ware, Jill St. Martin in Oklahoma and Michael St. Martin and his girl friend Melanie of Palmer, two great grandchildren Cody and Caitlin, his “adopted son” and good friend Bob Shea of Fiskdale, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by sisters Lorraine Huard and Theresa St.Martin.

Gerard was a longtime supervisor at George Saad & Sons in Spencer for many years before retiring. He loved to use his scooter, riding throughout the town.

Born in Southbridge, he was the son of Arsene and Yvonne (Anger) St. Martin and later served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 11a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will precede the service on Tuesday from 9:30 to 11a.m.
