Subscription Update Obituary

     Georgette C. (Forget) Rock, 92, of Howe Village, died Thursday, Sept. 4 in Mary Lane Hospital, Ware.

She was the wife of Paul E. Rock who died in 2007. She leaves a son Richard B. Rock and his wife Eileen of New Jersey, a daughter Jacqueline E. Lesley and her husband Robert of Spencer, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter Nancy Jean Mayo.

Born in LaNorie, Can., she was the daughter of Albany and Artimise (LaPorte) Forget. She worked many years as a seamstress at the former Sessions Casket Co. and later at Supreme Coat Co. both in Worcester, before retiring. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish.

Georgette enjoyed being with her family and friends, sewing, knitting, crocheting, making puzzles and playing cards.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
