George A. Dansereau, 90, of Worcester passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Odd Fellows Home, Randolph Rd, Worcester.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Lois I (Lazerick) Dansereau. He leaves his daughter, Susan Tarquinio and her husband Edward Tarquinio of Rutland; his son, David Dansereau of Worcester; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Timothy Dansereau on August 2, 1986.

George was born in East Brookfield to Joseph and M. Lorretta Dansereau. He served proudly in the 101 Paratroopers Division of the US Army and fought in the battles of Normandy and Bastone. He worked as an Aluminum Inspector at Wyman Gordon Company, Worcester Plant for 35 years.

Being with his family, listening to his music and going to Foxwoods as often as he could were his most treasured pastimes. He will be dearly missed.

Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is handling arrangements. There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private.
