Subscription Update Obituary

     Gene P. Gelinas, Sr., 61, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home.

He leaves his wife of 41 years, Barbara A. Gelinas; his mother, Marjorie McCarthy; two sons, Gene P. Gelinas, Jr., and his wife Christine of Webster and Shaun M. Gelinas, Sr., and his wife Jami of Dudley; his daughter, Autumn M. Bent of Worcester; his brother, Edward O. Gelinas, Jr., and his wife Debra of Harvard; as well as several grandchildren; a great-grandchild and many friends. He was predeceased by his father, Edward O. Gelinas, Sr.

Gene was a boiler technician in the U.S. Navy. He loved carpentry, country music, fishing, scuba diving, and WWII history. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. A calling hour will be held at 10am followed by the funeral service at 11am. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
