Frederick R. Brunetta, 76, of Maid Marion Street, died peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Monica G. (Russell) Brunetta of Oxford; his daughter, Tammy L. Makowiecki and her husband John of Oxford; his brother, Donald “Duffy” Brunetta of Florida; and several nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by three brothers, William Brunetta, Robert Brunetta, and Steven Brunetta.  He was born in Framingham, son of the late William and Doris (Augustine) Brunetta, and lived in Oxford since 1976.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Brunetta was a maintenance mechanic at Bay State Abrasives for 27 years.  Later, he was a custodian at Oxford High School for many years prior to retirement.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.

A private graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
