Subscription Update Obituary

Frederick M. Pike, 83, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus. He leaves his lifelong friend, mother of his children, Nancy Pike; a son Shawn Pike and his wife Heather of Hudson; a daughter Jennifer Dacri and her husband Vincent of Worcester; 6 grandchildren- Eric, Owen, Julia, Ethan, Livia, and Hannah; a brother Robert Pike and his wife Frances of West Boylston, a sister Patricia Densmore of Worcester; sister-in-law Sandra Pike of Worcester and brother-in-law Richard Lamoreaux of Bellingham; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings Ambrose “Joe” Pike, Barbara Lamoreaux, William Pike, Richard Pike, and John “Jack” Pike.

Fred was born in Worcester, son of the late Ambrose and Helen G. (Preston) Pike. He attended Commerce High School and worked for many years as an award winning district manager for the Coca Cola Company. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling and playing horse shoes. He especially liked socializing with family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in St. George Catholic Church 38 Brattle St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
