Subscription Update Obituary

    Francis “Frank” Strzesak, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010, peacefully at home after a long illness.

    He was born on March 7, 1943 in Cambridge, MA, the son of the late Stanley and Eva Strzesak. He lived in Worcester most of his life and worked as a truck driver for 40 years before retiring in 2008. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Gail Strzesak; three children, Lisa Strzesak of Worcester, Kelly Dufresne and her husband Michael Whalen of Worcester and Laurie Nelson and her husband Steve of North Brookfield; five grandchildren; three brothers-in-law, John Desrosiers and his wife Elizabeth, Kenneth Spooner, and Burt Spooner; three sisters-in-law, Kathy Desrosiers, Julie Besaw, and Tammy Desrosiers; two sisters, Diane and Barbara, and many nieces and nephews. Frank also leaves behind his best buddies, Dipsy and Joey.

    Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St., Worcester, MA. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
