Francis K. Votour, 92, died Sept. 8, after a long illness. He was born in Clinton, son of Joseph and Katherine (Flagg) Votour, and grew up in West Millbury. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years. Mr. Votour maintained manufacturing equipment for the Morgan Construction Co. for many years, retiring in 1999.
He leaves his wife Gertrude (Mullaney) Votour of Auburn; and two children, Jeannette and Gary Votour.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. in the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. A prayer service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
