Subscription Update Obituary

     Francis A. Hebert died peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. He was 76.

Born March 6, 1940 in Worcester he was a son of the late Arthur F. and Gracia N. (Fortier) Hebert. Raised and educated in Worcester he was a graduate of Holy Name High School with the class of 1959. He honorably served his country in the United States Airforce. He married Joyce B. Benoit on June 16, 1962 in Holy Rosary Church in Spencer. He graduated Worcester Boys Trade and began work for Patten’s Plumbing for over 25 years. Upon retirement he was manager and familiar face Richard’s Car Wash & Auto Body for over 20 years.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, Joyce, he leaves their sons, Scott F. Hebert and his wife, Lisa of Holden, Brian P. Hebert and his wife, Wendy of Shrewsbury and Todd G. Hebert and his wife, Sherri of Holden; he was the much loved Pépère to Beth, Alexandra, Thomas, Nicholas, Lindsey and Jacob; his great-grandchildren, Gunnar and Gemma; his sisters, Elaine Santi of San Diego and Janice Lee and her husband, Lee of Colorado Springs, CO; nieces & nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Frannie’s life by gathering for calling hours in Saint Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross Street, Boylston on Friday, October 28th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 9:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
