Subscription Update Obituary

     Frances E. (Levesauskas) Morgan, 78 of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at UMass Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Frances’ husband of fifty-four years, Roderick J. “Hook” Morgan, Jr. passed away on October 8, 2008. She is survived by two sons, Paul P. Morgan and his wife Kathleen of Columbia, TN and Roderick J. Morgan, III of Costa Mesa, CA; her daughter, Angela Mietkiewicz and her husband Steven of Worcester; two sisters, Alice O’Leary of Auburn and Mary Bragdon of El Monte, CA; six beloved grandchildren, Colleen, Crista, Brian, Danielle, Shaun and Mackenzi; ten great grandchildren, Owen, Aidan, Brian, Jr., Hailey, Remi, Colin, Kayla, Kendall, Kiera and Kyson; and many nieces and nephews.

Frances was born in Worcester, a daughter to the late Samuel J. and Mary E. (Hofski) Levesauskas. She graduated from Worcester Public School and has lived here all her life. Frances worked for many years as a retail sales person at the Big Discount. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Frances enjoyed keeping up her home and taking care of her family, going to Foxwoods, following the Red Sox, gardening and her daily trips to Dunkin Donuts. She cherished her many feline friends especially Harry, Snod and Trooper.

Services for Frances will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will follow next to her husband at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Upon her request, a period of calling hours will be held privately and for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
