Subscription Update Obituary

     Floyd Henning Danielson, 73, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of North Grafton, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Ocala Regional Medical Center.

Floyd is survived by his wife of ten years, Ann M. (Bovenzi) Danielson; his children and grandchildren, Shelly Danielson Woods and her husband Robert E. Woods and their three children, Kathryn, Noelle and Robert J. Woods of Worcester; Matthew Danielson and his wife Angela and their two children, Nathan and Audrey Danielson of Petersham; his former wife, Marilyn Danielson of Connecticut; his step-children, Gary Sweeney and his wife Sonya and their two children, Ashley and Brenna Sweeney of Charlton, Debra Cannalonga and her husband Joshua and their children, Taryn and Meghan Stevens and Lucais and Maxine Cannalonga of Charlton, Cheryl Gavin and her husband Dan and their son, Bryce of Worcester. He was predeceased by Cheryl and Dan’s son Kyle in 2008.

Floyd was born in Worcester, son of the late Henning and Esther (Erickson) Danielson. He served in the Air National Guard for several years in the 1960’s.

He owned and operated Grafton Auto Body for over thirty years, and retired from the United States Postal Service in 2012, after nineteen years of service. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Worcester, for many years.

Floyd found great joy in his family and friends and was especially fond of the loving times spent with his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing on Cape Cod during the Summer, tending to his garden and bird watching.

Calling hours for Floyd will be held on Tuesday, December 3, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His Funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 4, at 10 a.m. in New Hope Community Church, 204 Main Street, Marlborough, MA. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Community Church, 204 Main Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
